CorrosionX® Aviation takes corrosion control to a whole new level! Featuring the latest advances in Polar Bonding and Fluid Thin Film Coating (FTFC) technologies, CorrosionX Aviation is specially formulated to displace moisture, stop corrosion instantly and provide long-lasting protection. Made entirely in the USA, CorrosionX Aviation is qualified under MIL-PRF-81309 Rev. H Type II (replaces and supersedes MIL-PRF-81309G, MIL-PRF-81309F and MIL-C-81309E) for corrosion prevention and control on airframes as well as general purpose use, as well as MIL-PRF-81309H Type IV which is the new designation for Advanced Corrosion Preventive Compound. Corrosion Technologies is the only manufacturer in the world with products currently qualified under Type IV Advanced Grade Corrosion Preventive Compound.
Used extensively by the U.S. military as well as NATO forces, all CorrosionX products and application equipment have been assigned National Stock Numbers (NSN) by the General Services Agency (GSA) and are available for procurement through the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
In addition, Corrosion X is the only product available to the general public that meets the US Navy's tough new corrosion prevention and control performance requirement ( MIL-PRF-81309H ).
CorrosionX
Outstanding penetrant, lubricant & rust inhibitor. Sticks to metal like a magnet, driving out moisture and creating a thin, non-hardening, self-healing film.

CorrosionX XD
Medium build (thickened) version of CorrosionX offering longer-term corrosion protection and resilience against the elements.
- Designed to withstand extreme corrosive environments including sulphuric and direct saltwater spray
- Apply on wet & corroded surfaces
- Despite being thicker than standard CorrosionX it does not attract dust & still creeps & penetrates
- Can be atomised to efficiently treat interior cavities such as barge voids
Application by: aerosol, trigger bottle, wash down gun, commercial sprayer, brush/wipe/dip.
Available in: 5g, 1g, aerosol (16oz), trigger bottle.
CorrosionX HD
Thickened-film version of CorrosionX designed for marine environments. Provides maximum protection against moisture intrusion & corrosion. Will still be there long after other products have disappeared.
- Withstands pressure washing & immersion in salt water
- Forms a dripless, dynamic, non-hardening, self-healing film that penetrates existing rust, removes moisture, and stops electrolysis
- Will not dry out, stiffen or crack under stress
- Ideal lubricant for lifting chains and wire ropes – we recommend CorrosionX HD for wires under 15mm & CorrosionX grease for larger wires
- Assembly compound and anti-galling agent
